Damaged dial?

Hi everyone,

I bought this C shape Connie a while back and it's been sitting until I finally had it serviced recently. As I'm wearing it now I noticed that the dial has all these pearl like markings all over the dial that are only visible from certain angles and in certain light. Initially I thought the markings were on the crystal but I'm pretty sure it's the dial.

Any idea what I'm seeing? I've attached some pictures where you can see the markings near the bottom half of the dial (first 3 pics). They're all over the dial but from that angle you only see them near the bottom. There's also a couple pictures head on where you don't see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I think it is in the crystal. I note that when I tilt some of my watches, I get a similar effect.

It's fine, many vintage watches seem to have this under fluorescent light.

Thanks. I think you may be right. There's nothing visible in natural light or in the sun - only when using fluorescent lights.
