I have decided to make myself a bezel to use everyday, and keep the battered original one in a box. What would people like to see for a novelty bezel, if any? I an thinking engraved oxidised (coloured) titanium might be interesting.

Morrissey was asked about this a few years back. His response @1 min 48: Why meddle with a masterpiece?

A 3-4 carat diamond at each cardinal numeral would be nice, with18kt gold leaf burnished into each letter of TACHYMETRE would be a cherry on top.

Just spit-balling ideas.

Can't see myself wearing diamonds, but I could drill the holes for them..
Pick a colour:

3 seems a little on the large size to fit. Perhaps with an outrigger, and some tasteful neon lights.

Maybe I should move the dots around to give a unique binary coded serial number. For collectors, you understand.

Plain bezel with a dot at 0 and and one at 14 seconds with "Apollo XIII" at the bottom.

A true DON bezel - just the 90 and a dot, nothing else 🙄

Why mess with a classic?

Which one would that be? I thought they were moving on with the mk. 2. but they have been milking it for half a century.

That should distress the 'crystal' nicely.

Less distressed than the Speedy gods…..
