Hi guys,

Does anyone know the reference of this submariner?

Thanks in advance.

From the photo provided I would say it appears to be a non-serif dial 5513 which should correspond to a serial number either between 2-2.5 million or 4-5 million. Obviously you should request a lot more high res photos before you think about buying as there are tons of fakes out there.

Thanks guys very helpful. This is sold by small auction house. They don't really have a clue and few people attend its auctions. So price might be attractive.

Come on. That's only fair. For auctions (if you are a buyer, not a seller), it's not the more the merrier!

Be careful, washed dial and overly polished. As some said get better photos, it's definitely a 5513, by the looks of the dial a a 2.5 mil I would suspect.

Yes, we need more higher resolution pictures. But looking at your first picture, the lugs seem to have been overly polished.

Hard to tell with one blurry pic, but it doesn't seem to bad at all. Depending on the price, it could b a steal. Good luck.

Update:

The 5513 was auctioned last night and sold for 7400 euros + 20% buyers' fee. That's 8900 euros ($10,500). I thought it was too much based on the condition of the watch so I passed.

What do you think guys?

I think that's a pretty fair price. is it not? Prices for 5513s, these days are really soaring

Prices are soaring indeed but condition of watch was not that great. I am sure one can find a much better deal.

Can’t believe 5513 prices. Three years ago I sold mine for 3k.

3k ? Seems low even 3 years ago ...at least I didn't found one at 3k ... lol 😗

Now a wg later(84~89) 5513 can be found for around 6k. Still a ok price I think...compare to those 5 digit GMTs
