Crown too large on 168.005?

Hi everyone. I'm looking at possibly buying a gold-capped pie pan Connie 168.005.

I'm concerned about the crown. The seller claims that it's correct but it looks like an 8-sided crown rather than a 10-sided one. It also looks too big.

I'm worried about the crown being a poor fit, letting water in. Seller says the watch was serviced last year. Are my worries justified?

I can’t speak to whether it’s waterproof, but it’s a later replacement / possibly one of the fakes that pop up. I’ve found that these are often larger (diameter and thickness) than the originals. Plus the logo is different. It’s hard to find an original so I’m not surprised someone put one of these on it..
