·Just to explain a little, in pursuit of harmony - as you're not right inside the Anglosphere, you may have missed the nuance that your (slightly cryptic) comment could have been misconstrued as being dismissive of someone who was both a significant sportsman (in all senses), and whose status as an important African-American cultural figure is (rightly) growing. You cannae be too careful!
