·Anyone know what a new Speedmaster case runs for a 145.022? I need to ask my watchmaker (Omega certified, parts account, etc.) but he’s a bit of a hike from me, so I thought I’d ask here first. 😉
For background, I got the deal of a lifetime on a 145.022 years ago, but the lugs are probably 1/3 as thick as they should be. The watch works great, but I can’t stop noticing the lugs these days and am wondering what it would cost to replace the case all together. The beautiful, distinctive lines are hardly there. Fully plan to keep the existing case back if possible, and realize there’d be labor costs involved, too.
