Hello experts !
I’m so bad at spotting bad dials on some Omegas.
Does this look legit , or is there anything i should be worried for ?

Best regards / M

Hard to tell originality given the angles but dial has been washed to some degree as there is no lume on dial or hands.

I have a 2852 with same markers / lume plots. It should be nice and puffy.

ok nice, i guess the rest is correct then, so its not an redial

Definitely original. Can be relumed. Case polished more that I would like, but I'd still buy at the right price. Which is?

For the dial itself, hard to tell without better pic but at least we can confirm
- the crosshair is correct (it continues behind the letters)
- MOY check seems good, as the "el" and the star
- "Chronometre" instead of "Chronometer" is normal given its age ("Chronometer" could even be incorrect for that model, but I am not sure at all, others will be able to confirm/deny that point)
- not 100% sure but it seems intermediate hour indices are dots, while the 4 major are rectangulars. Also good.

For me it looks like a good start as far as we are only talking about dial authenticity.

Now for the complete watch... it could be only the angle but on the last pic the second hand seems a bit short.
Also - and I hope someone will also be able to confirm/deny that point with 100% certainty - I think that the dial, hands and case material is always supposed to match (gold with gold, steel with steel)

Here a good example of what it should look like:
(edit: the example of BenBagbag is also a very good example 😀)

Looks great as it is. I wouldn’t bother with a relume unless those missing plots greatly annoy you.

Good to know! I tought they may be fraken made of original parts. I should stop discard them from my watchlist, then 😀

No missed opportunities because of that until now, I followed the market mostly to train my eyes, define which models I really want ('cause I cannot buy them all 😁) and get an idea of the prices. But still...
