This watch is the same model that my favorite uncle owned, so can the forum please help me find/confirm the correct bracelet for my vintage Seamaster Ref 166.001?. Someone once told me that the correct/proper bracelet for this reference is he 8220 with number 11 end links. Not sure what bracelet is currently on it, but the number 11 end links certainly don't look flush enough to look proper to the watch. Thank you all so much for your thoughts!!

I think that bracelet would work if the front end of the #11 endlinks weren’t massacred. Someone cut the curve off the endlink it seems.

Thanks! You think it may just be a matter of replacing the end links?

Yea I’d say so. #11 or #511 ( the later iteration of the #11). Bracelet could be stamped 1036, 1502 or 8220 which are all 5 row beads of rice

Thanks, let me take a look at my bracelet when I get home tonight to confirm. So any of these bracelets you've mentioned will also work with the #11 or #511 end links? I was hoping to simply source the end links, but it seems to be more difficult than just buying them with the bracelet....

Yes any I listed will work with 11 or 511. Endlinks pop up from time to time on this forum, or eBay is your friend but I can tell you they won’t be cheap on eBay
