I love the daily posts of what our members are wearing! So many beautiful watches! Let’s consider the crowns on these beauties and create a visual registry of watch crowns. This may prove helpful in determining if a vintage piece has the right crown before deciding on a purchase.

I do have an old bottle with a Crown! Passed on from my dad. We do not really drink a lot of Rye!

I like the idea, but it will only be helpful if you also provide the case reference and the movement serial number (or year of the watch).

Tudor Prince Oysterdate ref 7966 that I am wearing today. I had the crown replaced but kept the old one (pictured). A good friend of mine had the crown on his 1950s Tudor changed and he ended up with the Tudor shield crown. Now he hates his watch!

All those crowns, and not a Crown in sight.....
