Contenders for the next watch in the fledgling collection: an hour or two in an AD...

Yup, I have ridiculously skinny wrists, which constrains my watch choices somewhat. Not ideal.

I'm actually going to the US in a couple of weeks for a while so I'll be keeping a keen eye on the prices out there.

We can fix that.

2 per day for four weeks, you'll be wearing a PO 45.5mm in no time. Make sure you get the double cheese and stuffed crust.

Haha! Unfortunately, I think that lot would go to my gut rather than wrists, being less than helpful! Not to mention the strain on the bank balance (watch fund)!

I have similarly small wrists like you, and it seems we are also working off of a very similar potential next watch list 😉 I'd been shying away from the Gen 3 x33 and the Dark/Grey Side due to the larger size but seeing the case size on your wrist has sparked my interest again. It may big but I thought you wore the size well. I think I might be a Dark Side guy myself and seeing the GS on your wrist might be the final push... and then there's the LE x33 Solar Impulse.

To be fair, neither of the '...side of the Moon' watches looked or felt as big as they thought they would, given the larger case size. Might be a push to carry them off day-to-day though. On a previous visit I did try on a new X-33. Again, wore smaller than I expected and was incredibly light, but it is quick thick.

Honestly if I got a DS/GS I'd be more inclined to just pet it like it's a small puppy instead of wearing it around all the time. I'm not even sure how much I'd wear it. I just know that it looks awesome and I have to have it at some point. I would probably wear the x33 on a daily basis though, assuming I don't baby it like I do the Gen 2 (which I love so very much). I've got to try one on at some point. The boutique near me is dangerous though, gorgeous sales girls and copious amounts of champagne.

You can't go wrong with the AT 'Skyfall'. Probably one of the most beautiful dials I've ever seen. I have the 41.5mm version and wear it much more than I figured I would. Great choice.

The only other suggestion I might make is to wait to see the new Railmaster if they release it. It might be the one that sings to you!! 😉

I was at a Boutique today, too! Here's another Grey Side shot from someone with a super skinny wrist. I liked the Grey Side more this time than last time. Wish I could buy the DSOTM and GSOTM today!

holy temptation batman, you are all a bunch of enablers! That GS is sharp. Looks pretty good on a slim wrist. Bonus points for having a DS in the background. 😀

An AD I was at recently said prices were going up in Canada. She was in process of changing the sticker prices while I was there.. only about 6% though. The sm 300 was going from 6k to 6400
Wait prices did just go up last year... They're goinup again?

From your list, I'd got GSOTM or Rolex Explorer. The new SM300's look nice but the white second hand and wide PCLs ruin it for me. I have a NOS SM300 made by Archer and I think is has much more style than the new models.

I'd go Sub ND from the original list. The Speedmaster plus Sub ND might be the perfect two-watch combo IMO. It doesn't get any more classic than that. If staying with Omega, the SM300 gets my vote by far.

AT suits you @Maximus84 - perhaps either the DSOM or GSOM next 😀

Max

Thanks! The AT is definitely on my radar as the next target! Compliments the Speedy well I think. Might be a while til the funds become available though so for now I'll keep dreaming!

your wrist is very thin, the SM300 looks too chunky on yours, the AT looks best on yours, GSOM next..
