Contemplating first vintage buy: Seamaster 2848 cal. 501

Dear forum members and resident experts

Seeking the advice of those wiser and much more experienced than me - I spotted a Seamaster 2848 posted by an online seller in Jakarta, Indonesia (where I live currently) that has appealed to me and I have the opportunity to visit his store in person to check out the goods. Having spent the better part of the weekend going through relevant threads on the forum, am still not sure if this piece is worth my time & money or not. Pics from seller attached. Asking price is about $750. Thanking in advance, all those who stop by to look and share their invaluable guidance!

Based on the blurry pictures it looks nice and clean with period correct clover crown. Only thing that seems to be wrong is the second hand which most likely has a broken of tip as it should reach to the second / minute markers.

1. I wanted to confirm if there is any redial on the watch - I understand that may be hard to evaluate with the poor quality pics
2. Does the movement look clean?
3. Thank for the inputs on the posaibly broken second hand. Attached another pic where it looks better (maybe angle of the previous shot?)
4. Valuation - is $750 too much? Am prepared to pay a slight premium to avoid the risks associated with overseas shipping and customs inspection in a developing country

Better pics pls. That looks like a “coat hanger” S, which should have a sharper angle. Otherwise, it could ba a redial.
