Dear forum members and resident experts

Seeking the advice of those wiser and much more experienced than me - I spotted a Seamaster 2848 posted by an online seller in Jakarta, Indonesia (where I live currently) that has appealed to me and I have the opportunity to visit his store in person to check out the goods. Having spent the better part of the weekend going through relevant threads on the forum, am still not sure if this piece is worth my time & money or not. Pics from seller attached. Asking price is about $750. Thanking in advance, all those who stop by to look and share their invaluable guidance!

Ooohh large caseback, need better pictures for dial as they blur when trying to zoom.

At first look it’s looking OK

Based on the blurry pictures it looks nice and clean with period correct clover crown. Only thing that seems to be wrong is the second hand which most likely has a broken of tip as it should reach to the second / minute markers.

Thanks so much @STANDY and @Henneth for your responses. Apologies for the blurry pics. Your vote of confidence inspires me to atleast visit the seller to inspect the watch and hopefully share better pics.
1. I wanted to confirm if there is any redial on the watch - I understand that may be hard to evaluate with the poor quality pics
2. Does the movement look clean?
3. Thank for the inputs on the posaibly broken second hand. Attached another pic where it looks better (maybe angle of the previous shot?)
4. Valuation - is $750 too much? Am prepared to pay a slight premium to avoid the risks associated with overseas shipping and customs inspection in a developing country

It’s gonna need a second hand and a service, the later will run you around $200-500 depending on who does the work and any parts needed. Take that into consideration when making an offer. I think the price is very ambitious

Agree with @JwRosenthal that the price is ambitious, but I definitely hear your concerns about shipping and customs. The premium might be worth it if the rest of the watch checks out. You also may have room to negotiate.
Asia is an interesting place for vintage watches. I don't know if it's because of the hassle of selling internationally from countries like Thailand and Indonesia, but there seems to be a nice selection of interesting old watches that have been cared for and haven't been traded around so much.
