Hi I just would like some opinions on my Seamaster LU-6304 Linen dial. I just purchased it and seller said is was the original dial not redone but I'm not sure if he is correct. I have some good pictures and will post. I looks like there is some brownish coloring around some hour markers. The Seamaster logo at bottom of dial in black looks raised not flat. What makes me wonder if its a redial is it says only Swiss at bottom I was thinking it should say T Swiss Made T? any help would be great Thanks

Oh, I'd bet large that it's original. The reference number you gave leads me to believe it's a US made case, which would make SWISS correct.

ps - if that's a redial I want to know where it was done because it's perfect.

+1 original dial. In very good condition, too. Nice catch.

Nice condition original dial. As Dennis says, 6304 is an American gold-filled case from the 1964 collection, hence the "Swiss" not "Swiss Made". Here is the Omega database reference.

Serial 19mil with that coat hanger S and no T on lumed dial are correct . Only the crown with 18K color, if you have chance to find the one with 14k color, it would be perfect.

    Congrats.

I just tried Jules Borel for you. It shows the watch by case number and movement. However, the correct crystal is unavaliable and it shows with a generic part number:

    OME CS#6304
    OMEGA CASE REFERENCE

    OME 550

    CRYSTAL SUB L 297 0.00

My guess is that these crystals were never signed and that there is a good chance the one on your watch is orginal.

It's in great shape. The entire 55x (non-date) and 56x (date) series of calibers are excellent movements both from a durability and accuracy standpoint.

Tritium, but just before the T's were put on the dial at the bottom near SWISS or SWISS MADE.

I forgot I had this Alligator strap in my watch goodies box so I put in on and think the color looks good with the gold. I ordered a Omega gold buckle to go with it. I'm starting to think vintage watches are like Layes Potato chips you can own just one!
