Constellation; swapped bridge?

Hi there OF,

Well I did what I swore I would stop doing and made an impulse purchase of a watch I am not as familiar with, a vintage Connie. My concern is a potential bridge-swap (hope I am using the correct term for the part) as the copper is a different shade of color.

Full set with all paper work, hang tags, high precision cert & envelope, receipts etc which all match each other, and all match the serial on the bridge. I would like opinions on if you think this is a put together piece or not. Pictures were not clear on this particular part, not saying the seller hid it but I probably wouldnt have bought it seeing it as I do now. Before I go through the hassle of a return, which I will only do if something is not disclosed not because I purchased impulsively, I thought I would double check with all here.
Thanks for the opinions.

It definitely has more of a golden color in the photos, and gold vs copper are the two common colors one finds. However, I don't want to jump to conclusions because this can be tricky to judge from photos. Because of the texture of the finishing, sometimes the color looks different from different angles. Also, sometimes cleaning solutions can cause color change. I feel like I'm seeing some signs of that on the rotor, although perhaps that is a reflection. Since the serial number matches all of the paperwork, it seems unlikely that it has been replaced, but I guess anything is possible. In principle, the serial number bridge could have been swapped into a different movement, and the paperwork stayed with it. You might want to look for other Constellations in the same serial number range and study the color of the movements.

Color doesnt match from any angle, but the cleaning solution was a thought of mine as well. I just would think it would color-change across all parts of the same base material. Usually one wouldnt clean just the bridge, and I wouldnt think it would have such a different effect on one part vs the others. But that is me "thinking" and that is where I often go wrong. 馃榾

Does the serial number match the paperwork? considering it's on the bridge it would be relatively hard to source a part from a same year donor (assuming it wasn't a service part. in which case not sure what happens then). It's hard to believe someone would replace the bridge because it had itself failed (it's an inert lump of metal) more likely someone wanted a donor with the gems in place as one has failed... or worse still wanted to swap in a movement and keep the serial number, if so rather sad. Then again I'm likely talking out of my noobie $$$$

No cleaning solution I know of will cause this.

If the bridge were replaced with one of the same serial number, the old bridge is sent back in order for this to happen, so there aren鈥檛 two with the same number out there.

Am I wrong, or doesn鈥檛 the numeral 1 inside the Omega logo mean something had been changed (or exchanged) by Omega?
