constellation pie pan arrowhead help

I have a chance to buy these two pieces and told the seller I would come back with a price. My question is about the constellation specifically but I'm including some pictures of a seamaster the person also has available. I cannot find a constellation exactly the same as this which makes me wonder if it's been pieced together. I believe it has a cal. 501, 20 jewel and is a pie pan arrowhead dial. The rotor says nothing about tested in 5 positions and the caseback does not have the observatory on it. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the caseback when I looked at it. The closest I can find is a 2852-6sc. What do y'all think, Frankenwatch? Value? Is the seamaster redialed? Dials of both are in poor shape. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos.

1st watch is a poorly redialled Seamaster.

2nd watch is an original dial frankenwatch. I do not think that the pie pan dial was used with the older cal. 501 movements. Only with the slightly later cal 505. And if there is no gold observatory on the back, then it is likely the caseback is also from another watch.

I would stay away from both of these.

We all know what's coming next. "But how much are they worth?" 🍿

do you think that one is a franken too?
Yes. The description is incorrect.

It’s a cal. 561 movement, which should be a calendar.

PS - No 20 jewel cal. 501 chronometers were ever made.

thanks for the help everyone. Saved me from overpaying for what would ultimately have become another long-term project.

Nice to see the Forum help a guy dodge a bullet. Whew, they were awful…
