    Hey folks, just looking for insight about this case on my Constellation. At all 4 lugs on the outer side it has an odd indentation with some brown-ish discoloration. Im unsure if it's plating that's coming off (I assumed it was a SS case). I'm a bit concerned it may not be an authentic case. But everything else seems legit (minus the crown). Was this ever an issue with certain cases?
    I believe the reference is: 14393

    Thanks for any insight.

    Even with an indentation? It's at all 4 lugs. And only in those spots.

    Seems to be mechanical damages from a machine of some kind.

    An original lug broke off and got lost?

    The three (or more) remaining lugs were removed and a donor case was raided for the replacement matching lugs which were re-soldered/welded on the case.

    More pictures of the watch would help.

    Here are some additional photos. Some mentioned the lugs may have been reattached, but I don't believe so.

    Sorry ::facepalm2::

    For some reason I only focussed on the gold part. No idea how that damage happened!
