·Thank you for your reply..
A disappointing news for me but please give me more details. First how can I spot that the dial it is fake. I seen many Omega dials good and fakes..(maybe I did not seen good fakes 😀 ) and I do not spot anything wrong here..Applied logo, good font, centred.. And the case back ..how do they fake it? they applied gold constellation logo over a seahorse?..and why to do that? I payed about 500 Euro and can not return it..😀
I will appreciate more details at least to learn something.
Thank you!
The dial may be an Omega dial but certainly not a Constellation, the indices are too thin.
The font looks the correct style but not correct - no serifs and too many blotchy bits.
No SWISS MADE at bottom of dial.
The star is incorrect.
The indices are yellow gold as is the second sweep hand but the hour/minute hands are pink.
I think the case is meant to be pink but this wouldn’t match the yellow indices or yellow medallion.
The crown is incorrect.
The case back may be an adapted genuine Seamaster but it could equally be fake.
The perlaging looks like the fake Connie casebacks you see.
The medallion is much too crude to be correct and you can see where it has been crimped into the caseback.
The lugs are the wrong proportion and badly fixed to the case.
The mid- case doesn’t have the correct profile for a Connie.
The movement is a bit of a mishmash, it’s in poor condition and whilst dating from around 1962-ish, it has a rotor from late ‘60s / early 70s (this in itself isn’t a real issue but on top of everything else it adds up)
Sorry to be so negative but I hope this helps with your future hunting.
