I am having a heck of a time selling this 168.015. (THIS IS NOT A SALE POST)
(not on this forum, i am still 70 post away from be able to sell here)
But on other platforms, i can not seem to give away this watch. I was asking $900 Canadian. is this too much?
It was serviced in november of 2019
Comes with an omega signed bracelet reference 1119 with #143 endlinks.
And an era correct box.

Any thoughts on why this lovely watch wont sell ? i know the case is less desirable.

Good question. IMO, and there are others more knowledgeable here, it's worth CAD $900. Maybe just a down market?

Then obviously your price is not a "give away".

LOL, i started a bit higher and have lowered twice. The same reference has sold for more however, the market is a little grey right now.

I think you may be right about the market, a lot of people seem to not be getting what they want for their piece. I am going to just wait and see what happens.
Thanks for your input.

I think £525 is a very good price for what looks like a watch in good condition. (And with bracelet, box and serviced makes it an even better deal)

However, whilst there are some fans on OF, this reference must be the least popular of all 60s Constellations, which is probably why it isn’t selling.

whilst this wasn’t a sales pitch, there must be someone here that would bite your hand off at that price.

Lots of individuals are afraid to pull the trigger because they are not well versed on authenticity and are afraid of taking chances when it comes to higher priced items.

The box is not the one in which the watch originally was sold. However, it is of value to a collector of 1950’s Constellations.

Your price is likely on the higher end of retail for a dome dial one-piece case. Many collectors prefer other Constellation models because they can easily remove the case back to view the movement, which is not possible with this one.

Goid luck with your sale.

$900 is where i have ended up with the price.. i did pay more unfortunately. Yes there is a box but it is not the correct one. The bracelet looks great on this case but i do believe it was from some variation of an early sea-master ? someone can correct me if im wrong but i think i have seen the same reference elsewhere.

If the box is complete, sell it separately. I've just seen a similar, complete one in so-so condition sell for €200 in an open auction.

I actually think the price is fair for the watch but you have unfortunately got a model that is in between more popular ones. I’ve lost count of the number of new and recent members who are showing Pie Pans that they want opinions on (some of which are total dogs) and personally, I prefer yours to that classic 50s style. I’m clearly in a minority on that! But I prefer the case on my C-case 168.017 and its linen dial to yours, even though the dauphine hands on yours are really attractive.

If I were in the market for another Connie, I would be tempted! I think you just have to be patient.

Best of luck in your endeavours!
