If the box is complete, sell it separately. I've just seen a similar, complete one in so-so condition sell for €200 in an open auction.

The box is of course, missing the top tray, other than that, there is one blemish on the top side. Hinges are perfect. Ill likely keep it for my 14381 and just sell this watch on its own. x

Thanks for your input sir.

I actually think the price is fair for the watch but you have unfortunately got a model that is in between more popular ones. I’ve lost count of the number of new and recent members who are showing Pie Pans that they want opinions on (some of which are total dogs) and personally, I prefer yours to that classic 50s style. I’m clearly in a minority on that! But I prefer the case on my C-case 168.017 and its linen dial to yours, even though the dauphine hands on yours are really attractive.

If I were in the market for another Connie, I would be tempted! I think you just have to be patient.

Best of luck in your endeavours!

I am not exactly desperate for the cash, i may just hold onto it for a while long. Maybe the market will fire back up a bit and someone would like it.
I too enjoy a good C case, but they do not seem to fit my wrist very nicely. Its too bad.

I like it. Really like it but I’m unsure if my skinny wrists could carry off a bracelet watch.

Depends on the size of the watch and the width of the bracelet. I have a Hamilton Langdon that is maaaybe 32mm diameter and uses a 5/8" strap or bracelet (16mm for today).

That was a man's watch when it was new!

Gordon. What’s your best price. It’s close to my limit.

With all do respect weeled, i would not feel comfortable selling to a user who has only just joined.
Thank you though.

Everyone is new once. This one is not acting like a scammer.

Honestly gordon. I appreciate and understand your thinking. I’ve loved omega since I was a kid. Now I’ve got a few spare pounds (uk obviously). Working from home has helped that recently and thought I take the plunge. I’m sorry if you feel all new people are scammers. I’ll just jump onto eBay and hopefully not get ripped off but considering my knowledge of omega is simply the aesthetic beauty I doubt that will happen. The reason I joined here was because from the sidelines, you all looked legit and willing to give advice, but alas some won’t give people a chance.

Respectfully, I will just mention that it may be more the sales strategy than the fact that the market is soft (the market is NOT soft IMO). If you have had the watch listed for a long time and you keep lowering the price, then the listing may have become stale. Everyone has seen it, they have seen that nobody else is buying it and that the price is dropping. So they are wondering if something is wrong.

Pricing an item correctly right at the start can sometimes get a better price than pricing it too high, which risks alienating potential buyers, who never look at the listing again.

You can buy from the sales listings on OF by sending the seller a PM. Many sellers will sell to new members, especially if the new member makes an effort to communicate thoughtfully and reassure the seller.

Sorry Weeled, I did not mean to insult you. I recently dealt with a potential buyer who strung me along for a while, ultimately, bailing. (among some other negative things i wont get into). I am sure you are a great person and i hope you stick around and learn from some of the experts here. I my self have not been here very long, but its a neat place.
Again, i do apologize if i offended you

Yep, I’ve got in touch with a couple. I do think it is a bit rich for someone to feel uncomfortable selling a watch to a new user even though they are “selling” a watch as a comment and not in sales as they don’t have enough time on here. Thanks again for your advice. I’ll keep looking.

No worries. Thanks for communication. It is a good site and I am learning. I like you was probably too impatient thinking I would find my ideal watch in the first day.
