Considering this Omega Automatic 14786 SC

Hi,

I've been looking at 60's Omega watches and have stumbled upon this watch that I like the look of. I've searched this forum and failed to find any previous threads relating to this model.

It looks good to me but I haven't really a clue and wondered what people's thoughts were? I quite like the simplicity of the watch and that it comes with the signed buckle too.

I'm UK based so not really looking to purchase from overseas sellers at present. The seller has a great selection of watches and reviews on Chrono 24 but wondered if anyone has used them before?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Looks okay. I would expect a mint dial for that asking though; but for a dealer not too bad.

IMO, the price is on high side, 600 GBP could have a lot of options. But if you like it.. why not.

Thanks for your thoughts. The size does put me off a bit but I do like the simple/ plain look that it has. I'll likely do a bit more looking before I take the plunge into a purchase.

It's small and I usually wear 34 mm watches so am not looking from a 42 mm point of view. There is a 3 month warranty that is not of much value either so, you can expect to have to service this watch fairly soon. That will be £200-400 in UK so a significant amount.

Personally, I would look elsewhere unless you must have this watch.

Good luck, Chris
