·It's been years since I have acquired a new watch. After seeing a shot of an Oris that Sam Neil has worn for Jurassic Park III, I fell in love with it. I have read analysis of the video/images that state he is wearing an Oris 7500 BC3 (big crown). Reading the specs for that watch, it has a 40mm diameter, but looking at how much real estate the case takes up on Sam's wrist, it looks more like 34mm or so (unless he has one of the largest wrists ever).
Perusing around pre-owned watch websites, there is a 7501 with a 35mm case diameter- does anyone think that this is the watch he is wearing? Also, I have a small wrist- it is almost exactly 7 inches. 38mm is a perfect size on my watch, and above 40 looks comical and is very uncomfortable. This watch is also going to wear a lot smaller than its actual size due to the wider bezel. I honestly don't know if I should get the 35mm or 40mm version.
