Hi, came across this one, did someone ever see lumen dots at the inner parts of the indices? 9 o'clock indice seems to be replaced Curious to hear options about it Take care
Sorry seller is only asking a very high price but is very stingy with informations. Caliber 561 is the only thing I can add...
Looks like a previous owner had the hands swapped and lume added to me. The indices don’t look like they were made for lume and the original minute ticks are there - and some of the lume is off centre. @hoipolloi - did Omega ever do Connies with the lume in the inside of the indices?
Even if Omega ever made a PP Constellation like this, the lume dots would at least be the same size... These look decidedly amateurish. As does the polish on the lugs and the comically big crown.
But then you can never have a watch in this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/post-your-gamble-or-barn-find-ug.68388/#post-859182
This is why Hoi asked for the serial number. If it was early 60s it could have lume but no Ts. Some onyx set indices dials do have lume but placed on the dial outside of them. But not the OPs example IMHO
I like it and don't think anything is wrong with it. The 9 marker is just the same as the 6 and 12, but has the lume dot fell off. @cristos71 used to have a 2887 pie-pan with similar (if not more strange) lume position. I've seen it on quite a few other pie-pan Constellations as well.
