Confirmation on warranty card from AD

Hello all,

Looking for input from those in the US since I believe warranty card procedures differ overseas. I purchased a PO8900 from an Omega Authorized dealer and I noticed that the warranty card has mostly handwritten information. See pic for reference

Is it normal now for US ADs to hand write the reference number, serial number and date while the Jeweller information is typed? I know that when you buy from an Omega boutique in the U.S. everything on the card is typed so I’m just wondering about when it’s purchased via AD and if this is normal practice. I ask because in the past I remember most of this stuff being typed.

For reference it did come with the Master Chronometer and Pictogram cards, both of which are fully typed on.

Thanks in advance

Omega warranty cards changed over in the US to hand written maybe a couple of years ago. I can't remember the reason my AD gave me for the change. Your card looks good and I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Yep card is fine and was discussed in the thread posted but anyone know why Omega changed to hand written? I mean the one answer is just give the AD a stack of blank cards then they fill out cards when they sell. Their has to be something more to it though.

Thanks everyone. So has anyone purchased from a US AD and have their warranty card look like mine?

Not sure why all the questioning about warranty cards when you purchase from an AD or Boutique, it's not like they are going to give you a fake product. Procedures change all the time with consumer products. As always, keep your sales receipt which absolutely certifies that date you bought the watch. Too much worrying sometimes on this site.😀
