Yes, I did a search and found nothing on OF. Curious if any member on the forum has done such a comparison. I happened to have both bracelets out and decided to do a quick comparison. Open to all opinions, thoughts and criticism.

Finish: I prefer the polish and matt finish of the Omega 1039

Design: Difficult choice but I like the larger links of the Rolex Oyster bracelet and the 7206 feels heavier.

Clasp Design: literally interchangeable, just swap the logo. Although the clasp is virtually the same size when viewed from above the Rolex bracelet sits on a larger portion of the wrist then the 1039. I don’t know if this is a factor of concern.

Clasp Function: no discernible difference, in fact you tighten the clasp in the same manner for both.

Ease of Sizing and Adding or Removing Links:
Adjusting inside the clasp there is no difference, but adding or removing links the Omega is easier.
For most of us if you want to remove a link from the Rolex 7206, you need a watchmaker.

Final Vote:

The Omega looks 100 times better in my opinion. The contrasting brushed and polished links looks fantastic and the joints between the links look much tighter, giving it a higher quality look, side by side. The only place I'll give the Rolex points is in the sides of the links, they are better finished.

Omega is much more flimsy on the wrist IMHO
