It says Ultra Deep in this reflection.

Interesting! I just noticed that it's no-date as well, so possibly no HE valve? This could also mean that the new PO (if there is one) will be thinner than the UD model, which I presume will have a higher depth rating than 600m.

Exciteddd. Another guy on WUS pointed it out, I managed to grab the screenshot after downloading the video from IG and going frame by frame lol.

The original gigantic Ultra Deep:
- Has no date
- Has no HEV
- 15KM WR
- Used Grade 5 Ti
- Bezel made of Ti with ceramic insert and liquidmetal markings
- Had Manta Ray lugs

This commercial Ultra Deep?
- Hopefully still no date
- Hopefully no HEV
- Definitely looks thinner than the UD but thicker than current POs
- Won't be 15KM WR, but likely something in the 4 figure range. Maybe 4KM or 5KM just to beat the Rolex DeepSea?
- Probably Grade 5 Ti again, I don't see why not
- Probably same bezel materials, I don't see why not
- Looks like its on a bracelet, so no manta ray lugs? Unless they made a special bracelet that would fit such lugs.

Hopefully an Ultradeep.
Would be a great compliment to the Ploprof.

Omega did release the first purpose-built wristwatch in the 30s, the 'Marine.' Even if it looks different, it was the first.

This will be a Ultra Deep commercial model and not the new Planet Ocean.

I do have alot of respect for the Ultra Deep, as I believe it was tested at a simulated depth of 15,000 meters. But with the current model being 28 mm thick, I don't see a updated version trimming down for a daily driver. Still hoping for a PO or GMT update along side the UD, as I'll never in my life even come close to 600 meter depths let alone !5,000.

I was waiting for an updated planet ocean, I just hope they either maitain reduce the case thickness, the case size if its brought down to 42 as a standard that would be great. design wise we already are winning with no date and no HEV.

hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

I doubt they'll release a 15KM commercial version. The 15KM ultra deep used on the dives in 2019 were massive, almost as thick as some people's wrists. This will still be large, but wearable and probably just north of the Rolex DSSD water resistance rating..

The new OMEGA diving ballast, that's also a luxury watch. From OMEGA.

The original PO 2500 solved the issue, in regards to thickness long ago, it was perfect! Nothing has ever quite matched it!,

Part II of the suspense…

Definitely a PO upgrade here (expected for 2022), but I’d be careful with the no-date assumption. It’s probably placed at the 6 index similar to repositioning with the SMP Diver and Aqua Terra.

I think 6 o'clock index is a bit low to leave space for date, but that's just my assumption, obviously I may be wrong.

The angle of the lume reflections of the markers on the ring between dial and cristal speaks of a huge depth.

I love me some extra thick crystals, bring it on. I'm hoping they can achieve 4KM+ while being thinner than the DSSD or this Ball DQ I have.

Played around with lighting/exposure of the picture, and you’re right. There’s no date at 6 o’clock. It’s either at 3 (which isn’t ascertainable in this picture) or removed entirely.

Here’s the edited (lighting only, no amendments) photo:
