I really hope its the Ultra Deep! I have a feeling the measurements will be more reasonable than the actual one they used on that dive!

I would buy an Ultra Deep that wore like a Marinemaster or Doxa 5000, and weighed at least little less than the latter. That's getting into dream watch territory for me, especially after getting to wear a PloProf for the first time.

This puppy needs to be Submariner's dimension.
Keep it under 42mm please. Don't leave your Asian friends hanging, literally...

Well if it is the Ultra Deep, I would love to see a titanium case for anything over 42mm.

I thought it would be a PO too but then 1932 has nothing to do with the Planet Ocean. So it must be something else.
Omega did release the first purpose-built wristwatch in the 30s, the 'Marine.' Even if it looks different, it was the first.

After having a closer look:

Looks like there might be a new style of rubber strap. Not seeing the 'manta' lugs, so fairly sure this is a regular PO.

With regards to the thickness, I think I'll have to tamp my expectations. I'm still somewhat optimistic though.

Lord, please make it 40mm
Amen

Please no. There are plenty of options for smaller dive watches out there now. PO was always meant to be big first, with smaller models second.

I'm Asian and very much hoping for a big chunky Ultra Deep 😁

looking at the teaser, sadly, you might be right.
But I'm keeping hope alive @ 41mm, to make this an international hit.

Didn't the Planet Ocean 39.5 already solve everyone's size gripes, or no? Still too thick?

My gut feeling is that it’s an updated Planet Ocean with a lumed bezel and thicker crystal so it can be rated to 1000m. Will probably also move date to 6 o’clock.

so a lot of nice updates and one stupid one that will keep a lot of people from buying it.

Doesn't it look Ultra Deep? I maybe totally wrong. On Omega Youtube there is a new clip about Seamaster that ends at Planet Ocean.

Another look from farther out. Looks like the crystal is raised above the bezel, and thats definitely a bracelet attached. Seems like Ultra Deep design cues, minus the manta lugs (unless they figured out a way to make that work with a bracelet).

PO 39.5 no close enough?

PO ≠ Ultra Deep
My dives are usually above 600m.
I need UD.

I'd like to see a updated Planet Ocean. Maybe no date version and slightly slimmer case. Shave a mm or two off the 16.2 thickness. Stick with the 43.5 diameter, as seems to be a excellent size on the Creamsicle.

I really hope it is a thinner, no date PO with either a 39.5mm or 40mm variant. I just got my PO 2500 back from a service at Omega, and it looks brand new again. Even still, I would definitely be a buyer for a more modern, but equally thin PO.

I also want this to be PO with thinner profile. These modern PO is great but too thick to be daily watch for me...

I think a updated thinner Planet Ocean GMT would also be a crowd pleaser. I really love the look of the Black and White Bezel. But with a 17.2 mm thick case, it hesitated me on pulling the trigger.
