Hi all,

It's a new year so I am pondering a change-up in my collection. I've noticed this watch has been sitting in the safe more and more so it might be time to try something different.

For your consideration is a Rolex 16750 purchased from the original owner. I'll let the pictures do the talking, but this is a proper collector's piece.

The set comes with original outer (with outer sticker) and inner box, document pouch, punched papers from Sweden dated 1981, calendar from 1981/1982, and translation materials. There is also a black insert included and extra link that I removed for sizing the bracelet.

The matte dial is flawless and has developed a nice patina. Hands have developed a similar patina. The case is very sharp and has likely not been polished. The original red back insert is in beautiful condition and the red portion has a rich cherry color. I have not had the movement serviced, as I wear it so infrequently. All functions work properly - quickset date is crisp and date changes right at midnight.

Serial number is 6.27 million. The original 62510H bracelet has E10 clasp code, dating to late 1980. 550 endlinks and 50 last link. There is minimal stretch in the bracelet, but lots of life left. Here are the photos - happy to provide more to serious trade partners!

For trades, I am interested in a nice Omega Railmaster example. I am starting to focus on anti-magnetic watches and have an IWC Ingenieur 866 that I wear most days. I suspect there are some members on the forum who may be hoarding a few :p. Maybe this could bring one out.

Additional considerations would include other vintage sports watches, Rolex Milgauss, Omega Chronometres, and IWC Ingenieurs.

EDIT: For sale I am asking $19,000 which will include free worldwide Express shipping and insurance with ParcelPro.

Thanks for looking and OF for the space!

Absolutely stunning! Wish I had something to offer up... wife and first born are keepers... car? Non-vital organs? I’ll keep pondering...

Thanks for all the messages and offers so far.

Would also consider an AP 14790, early SM300 with original bezel, etc.

Trading a Rolex for an AP on Omega Forums does not facilitate the coincidence of wants. Not to mention the logistic of trading a $15k timepiece with another private seller, which can be a challenge in itself.

I'm not sure the point of your post to be honest. If you read my initial post, I was looking specifically for an Omega Railmaster trade. Later, I opened it to other watches.

I only am a member of OF and have been here since 2016, which is why this is only advertised on OF. I have a knowledge of trusted members and have a selling reputation here myself. Logistically I can manage.

Not to mention that this watch appears on aggregating search engines where anyone on the internet can respond via PM.

I am happy to further discuss coincidences of wants and logistics if you want to send me a PM rather than posting on this thread.

Just wanted to help by suggesting it would be easier for you to sell the GMT and then purchase the AP. It's just very difficult to find someone who wants what you have and who also happens to have what you want (the coincidence of wants). Money was invented to solve the problem of the coincidence of wants, and that's why I brought it up. It's not a matter of reputation at all.

For the record, I think your watch looks fantastic ! You could sell it VERY easily and I just intervened because I was very surprised to see that such a nice piece had not found a new home yet. Deep down you probably want to keep it. I would too ;)
