Hello - up for sale from my private collection, a beautiful, neo-vintage, original and unpolished Rolex GMT 16750, 8.7M serial. The watch is quite attractive with gorgeous dial and matching hands. These don't come up for sale frequently, specially in this condition.

Some highlights:

Dial - absolutely stunning, markers have developed a very nice even colored patina . This is what attracts your attention and keeps you wanting to look at it all day. Hands match the dial perfectly, the GMT and minute hands have been stabilized.

Case - this sets the watch apart from other GMT's and makes it a rare find. I have handled many GMTs in my time, this case is as good as it gets, and looks unpolished to me. I don't use this term lightly, but one look at the thick lugs and crown guards tells the story. Lastly, the original green sticker is still attached to the caseback.

Movement - has not been serviced during my ownership, it winds smoothly and keeps good time. Previous service history is unknown.

Bezel Inserts: sale includes a very nice nice Fat Font black and a gorgeous period correct FF Pepsi insert. The Pepsi insert is original to the watch and is not thin font factory replacement which you find on most 16750's.

Bracelet - a very tight period correct Oyster 78360 w/580 end links.

Overall, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer 16750 in the market. This watch checks all the boxes in terms of originality and looks. When the dial is exposed to sunlight, it completely changes the complexion of the watch.

Price: asking $15,600 wired, includes overnight shipping and insurance within CONUS. I will not mail to a PO box and international shipping is at buyers expense.

Returns: I will gladly provide a full refund within the first 24 hours if misrepresented.

I have been an active member of this wonderful community for a long time with many transactions and numerous feedback in the Sellers Profiles & Reviews section.

Thank you OF for the space.

Truly spectacular - and a non-spider dial to boot.

If this watch had been available a month ago I would have bought with zero hesitation. Went with an unpolished 16710 which I love but would not have passed on this one. You don’t find these gloss 16750s in this condition anymore.

For those who like comparison shopping, below is a link to a similar watch being presented by a well known retailer at a huge premium (Twenty one thousand and change.) The watch is not unpolished, has a defective dial (Spider dial - marketing gimmick) and most importantly, is not period correct for that serial. Lastly, it does not come with an authentic, period correct Pepsi insert.

Take a look and you judge for yourself.

@CoDiffe - congrats in landing your 16710! The 16750 wears slightly different in that it's slimmer case profile with independent date function.

I bought 2 GMT's from ATWG and both times the watch was better than described. I highly recommend him as a seller and fellow collector.

What a beauty! Do you have movement shots and possibly a shot of the caseback without the bracelet attached?

Geez-louise, people!

How has this not been snapped up!?
This reference is the last to offer plexi glass, with open 6’s & 9’s date wheel as well as quick set date function.

With that said, I’m open to reasonable offers.

We were waiting for you. ;-)

*stomach pang*

I’ve been on the hunt for the right 16750 (from the right seller) for a little over two years now. This watch (and this seller) would definitely be it, had I not just recently made some career and family decisions that have me on the sidelines for the next few months.

But if any charitable member wanted to quickly buy 4 or 7 of my vintage watches as a package real quick, I would make a great deal (so long as it added up to @ATWG ’s asking price) 😗😁😗

Otherwise, I’m only left hoping someone from OF keeps this in the family

Free Bump and GLWS. If I would not have a 16750 8.8 Mill I would have already bought this one. Great price and great looking watch 😀
