·Have two older watches in need of basic maintenance. Years ago in Chicago I was paying $125-200 for a service on a working watch, like of one of my Wakmann chronographs was running oddly I would get it cleaned and if it didn’t need parts it would be about that much. Now I am calling around and getting quotes like $800 to clean/lubicrate a working watch. Any recommendations for more affordable service in the NYC area?
