I was hoping some of you long time Zenith El Primero fans/experts can give me your thoughts on this reference - as I think I am leaning towards this being my first El Primero.

Will it retain a nice place in the lineage of El Primeros or is it looked at as kinda gimmicky?

I think it is one of the nicest modern EP 👍 strap and striped dial is stunning.

Really can't tell if it will be remembered in two decades

Rule of thumb: if you're thinking in terms of "investment", true vintage is almost invariably a safer bet.

I own the striking 10th, It is my only Zenith but the fit and finish on the watch is really outstanding. I really love the look of the Classic Cars but have only seen pictures of it. I would need to see it in person. I am not sure how the dial would look. Here is a good review of it.
