Holy cow, which Torpedo is that one?
Not sure which But it lives near me. I see it every once I awhile. They drive it on the street.

Love that color.
It looks a lot like Porsche Grey Black - but maybe a touch lighter, or more green...

This old Citroën was being used as a workhorse. Petrol strimmer in the back. Spotted in Bibury in the Cotswolds.

Exactly why I love this color. Hearkens back to old Porsche/vw colors. The most popular color schemes right now are all earth and grey brown tones. Toyota , Ford, Subaru they are all following this color pallet. Mocha, Gun Metal , Grey Brown. What was old is new again.

BTW the 62 is Anthracite Grey, a stock color.

Had a good week of spotting..

Tidy MK1 Golf GTI
Very rare Isuzu Piazza Turbo
Tidy MK2 ‘big bumper’ MK2 golf GTI 16v
Very late Porsche 944 S2

I’ve had an S2, and own a Mk1 Golf, so I would probably choose the Mk2!

A classic “maroon roadster” spotted in Newport, RI. What year is this beautiful MGA, clever ones?

It's a 1500, so early, 1955-58.

The year with all the breakdowns and lousy build quality.

For those not familiar with the finest in British engineering please look at the door. How do you it open from the outside when the rag-top is up and the side windows fitted? Austin-Healey used the same system on the Sprite Mark2 I once owned.

no pics, but this is the Mk2 that came to Canada.....I got scooped on a hot-rodded Mk 1 in about 1989 but settled for one of these in Tornado Red.Started me on a long road of garage mechanic work and learned a heck of a lot about suspension, Bosch electronics, lighting and plumbing.

Very possibly! The dark patch on the ground is probably transmission fluid 😲

Red MGA by "Bow" (Kazuhiro Ikeda) who has a real flair for car illustration.

I didn’t actually spot this one this week. It is in the Phillips car collection, locally. It never leaves the museum, You can read the sign that accompanies the car, so I won’t tell you about it.

Mk1s taught me all I know about mechanics. I even changed a gearbox in an underground car park in Prague once, with very basic tools! (The highlight being the Bell Boy who delivered cold pints of lager).

I had the pleasure of taking this 1946 MGTC for a spin this week. It has been owned by the same family for many decades. It certainly tested my double-de-clutching skills!

Not recently, not even this century, it's 1975. Mine is back row 3rd from right.

The side windows had non locking plexiglass sliders. After market ones had zippers.
