The guy is Wayne Carini. He hosted “Chasing Classic Cars” which was popular in the states up until a few years ago. Similar appeal to “Wheeler Dealers”

This weeks spots in London and Brighton. As much as I like my classics, I do like my obscure/rare cars like the Bedford van (pretty much extinct) and the Dutton amphibious vehicle.

Love the Volvo and the T-bird! License plate on the amphibian car gave me a chuckle.

Classics only.

Subbing the 356 in place of the T3 for the time being. May be time to finally address that body work.

Down at the local Vintage car club this morning for the start of a Veteran and 2 wheel braked car rally.
A beautifully fully restored Stanley Steamer was also present along with a diverse range of 100+ year old cars.

Always good to see some old square riggers!

Apparently someone was filming in London. Cars from the era and people dressed accordingly on the streets.

There was a woman on a car forum I was on called FredTransit and she had a business supplying vehicles for film and TV work.
About 75% of the fleet was classic Ford Transit vans (the white one in front of the greeen Mini is a mk1) as they have been a feature of British streets for the past 60 years or so and a big bulky van is handy for blocking modern vehicles/signs/lighting/shops from the camera's view.
