' Dreams of a Lamborghini'
Friends, as I told, I left my VW Golf power compact to change to the VW SUV class.
Yes I am happy with it, but I dreamed of one of the higher class sister models of the Touareg, the Bentayga, Cayenne, Q8 or at best the Lamborghini Ursus!
(All these sometimes wait in front of a special Italian Trattoria near my home, maybe an 'incontro' of the padrone with his local residents??)
But my watch collecting does not leave little room financially.
As the Touareg is at least a town and motorway car, yes gravel as well, there is an offer for the real rough terrains:
=> The Lamborghini RF 100 Target
I just spotted this here in Greece...

There is a story of the beginning: Commendatore Ferrucci Lamborghini, who made agriculture machinery and helicopters, allways drove Ferrari cars.
But once he had a discussion with Enzo himself, what he should improve. But Enzo didn't listen to him, so Ferruccio decided to develop his own super sportscar, it was the 350 GT.... That was in 1964!
Now Lamborghini Cars is in ownership of Audi as well as Ducati motocycles.

Six wheel conversions really are a thing. This served at Cambridge Airport for nearly 30 years and allegedly 400 of these conversions were made, but not all as fire-trucks.

There were factory Land Rover 6x6s developed for the Australian Army
Assie SAS long range patrol spec

Infantry version

Air defense version

Ambulance version

Air field crash tender

Civilian versions

The Army has been in the process of replacing these for a while now and these vehicles are regularly up for public action

There are other 6vwheel conversions about for Toyota Land Cruisers etc but these are usually 4x6 with the 3rd axle not driven and are done for carrying capacity not off road ability

The Lamborghini pictured is a rendering. and not real.....I've since looked it up!

"Factory" being JRA down under rather than Solihull in England, they all have Isuzu 4BD1T diesel engines.

Shooting would be too good for him!
Ok, another graveyard, the Cadillac Fleedwood driven by Elvis Presley. He was on US Army service in Germany 1958-60. So the car must have been imported from the US to Germany after he passed. Since then the car is burried beside a beer garden near by my home in Düsseldorf:

No picture, but this morning, I was following a Maybach. Don’t see those around these parts. I was driving, and my phone takes crappy pictures.

I owned both of those although my Triumph was the non-Vitesse model. My Triumph was blue and my Cinquecento was the classic burnt orange.
