If I went through all the cars I have owned you could easily see the changes from being single to married and then the arrival of children and this 525 indicated children were on the scene 😀

It’s funny you say that. The PO of my M5 was a Porsche fanatic (air cooled of course) and had two small children requiring booster seats. He bought the M5 for that duty and once they were only enough to no longer need the booster, he sold the M5 to me and went back to Porsche, we gotta do what we gotta do.

There is nothing wrong with an E34 5 series. Years ago a friend had a 535i sport, and then an E34 M5. Both took us to Le Mans at pace and in comfort!

Indeed, had this one for a few years...1994 530i:

This was the M60B30 engine, so the 3 litre V8. It had a very nice growl to it...

They are incredibly well balanced cars and still a pleasure to drive. They have just enough creature comforts to feel modern but not enough tech to be problematic.

Spotted this one back in the garage after a couple months of absence. Getting some oil leaks addressed, along with a list of other items that I didn’t feel like dealing with.
Interior is next on the list, followed by a touch more body work.

This is one of my cars. Subaru 360 sedan I restored. Air cooled 2 stroke.
I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to classic cars, especially the left field ones, but I’ve never seen one of those before. Cool little thing! That 504 is very nice too.

This is my every day driver. Peugeot 504 diesel. I love all things vintage. Very comfortable and reliable.
These are great cars. Legendary reliability.

I haven’t seen this one myself, but my son saw it yesterday. This one is currently not running. It has been a project car for the last 20 years. It is a 1955 Chrysler Crown Imperial. One of 40 for Canada. The picture doesn’t show it at its best, unfortunately.

This reminds me of the time I spotted a crazy Back to the future DeLorean in NYC. Jan 2018. Maybe the owner might be on here?

Seen this afternoon: Jensen-Healey GT in central Cambridge. Stock photo because it was past too fast to get phone or camera out.

Found this in the parking lot of my local ymca

Beautiful specimen. Belongs to a US service man who served in Germany back in the day…

That is quite a beautiful car, I can only imagine how it would look fully back in concourse condition.

Reminds me of our old 56 Hudson Hornet one of only 8 RHD cars imported into NZ.
