@omegaaddict I saw you selling the CK2998. Didn't bond with it huh? I actually thought about selling mine due to my wrist size (small wrist, like smaller watches in general) tho I LOVE the watch, but after putting the leather back on, I am in love with it again. I've since withdrawn the sale, I think I'll stick with the stock blue straps until I get bored (or get that 60th anniversary bracelet).

I love mine. Just was being opportunistic as the AD gave me access to another as well

From what I can see on the forums the used price in US is around what I'm offering a new one for. Possibly more.

The new gray and blue nato bond by Omega will look cool on this watch. (coming this summer)

Is that a new color combo? Do you have a picture or Omega site URL? I could only find the initial release of NATO straps including black/grey Bond, but not Blue/Grey.

Love to see it. I have blue/grey one by NATO International (I posted picture above) but the hue of the blues don't match (too close while definitely different) it bothered me more than something obviously different like black/grey or other solid colors. I hope the new Omega one had CK2998 in mind, or at least clearly different blue from CK2998's.

I'm also now wearing the ck2998 with the blue nylon woven strap from Omega. Looks brilliant to my eye and totally changes the character of the watch.

Lots of nice looking straps, I prefer the blue choices and the stock strap the most

OK. Ever-so-slightly better version.

Yeah. I might be calling my AD soon...

Hi guys, my first post here. I've been doing some research and a friendly guy named Kyle Reisz on facebook decided to give it a go. So removing the bracelet from his 60th anniversary Speedmaster and fitting it to his FOIS (same case as the ck2998). Unfortunately he found out the push pin holes don't match and there the gap between the case and the end link was around 1 mm. So if you can live with that, it's a good option. But it's not very pretty. A shame really, because it looks like a winner!

Agree, it would have been a winner. Same for the FOIS. Unfortunately, neither the Speed, Sea and Railmaster's 1957 reeditions fit on the CK2998 and FOIS.

Just love this watch. It is truly a sleeper. Blue shell cordovan leather strap is my favorite.

I agree - this one is growing on me. Only thing holding me back is that I have a Tag Heuer 2000 series chrono with the same white/blue color scheme and my wife thinks they look too similar.

When you say the push pin holes don't match, you meant there is also a gap between the curved part of watch case and end links?

I just bought the bracelet STZ006810. Unfortunately the springbar hole doesn't align perfectly with the end links. I might try to do some modification with the end links to make it fit. Or perhaps will find after market endlink no.6.
