Now that looks just perfect!
Pity, i mean the new 60th Ann edition. Seemingly bracelet gets much more attention than the watch itself.

Yeah. I might be calling my AD soon...

Confession time: been thinking about flipping CK2998 recently. Thinking good resale value and also losing wrist time to other watches. But gosh jimminy cricket!!! These 60th bracelets just gives the watch a new fresh look. Love it! I'm also calling my OB soon.

OK. Ever-so-slightly better version.

Wow. I've always liked the idea of the CK2998 on a bracelet, but wasn't completely sold on the vintage 1125 or the modern Speedy racing bracelet. But this looks spot-on. Will this definitely fit the CK2998?

If so, this bracelet is exactly what we've been hoping for since the introduction of the FOIS.

And I wonder how soon it would be available for purchase. $800 MSRP, like the Speedy Racing, or more?

Do keep in mind that the 60th has another diameter given with 38mm or even slightly less? The FOiS has 39.7mm. Could be the difference of the bezel (steel vs. ceramic). I guess we have to wait and see...

We will have to see for sure, but with the fact that all 60th models have 19mm lug width I think it is looking promising. Between three models, looks like the diameter difference is coming from the bezel variation though Speedy lugs look different from SM and RM.

I think there is a big chance I'm picking up that 60th anniversary model bracelet later this summer, but for now, my CK2998 is still rocking NATOs.
This one is Worn Brown color by the same company who made the tan color leather NATO I posted before.

The only thing that got me really excited this Baselworld is the steel bracelet on the Anniversary editions. I really need one for the CK2998.
I couldn't even wear my CK2998 with that blue strap, the only Speedmasters that look good on a leather strap are more than 30 years old. In the meantime I'm wearing the CK2998 with a 7912 bracelet (from 1961) with matching endlinks that I took from one of my vintage straight lugs. The fit of the endlinks could be better, but it's not much worse than on a original 2998.
I even tried a jubilee bracelet at one point I got from a 70's Seamaster, sacrilege I know, but anything is better than the original strap.

I like the original strap, but like to mix it up.

If one of those new 19mm bracelets fit, however, that might be my regular way of wearing the CK2998.

@omegaaddict I saw you selling the CK2998. Didn't bond with it huh? I actually thought about selling mine due to my wrist size (small wrist, like smaller watches in general) tho I LOVE the watch, but after putting the leather back on, I am in love with it again. I've since withdrawn the sale, I think I'll stick with the stock blue straps until I get bored (or get that 60th anniversary bracelet).
