I'm having same issue. Thought I did a pretty solid wind in the morning and dead by the afternoon. Did 100 rotations this morning (stressed out lol) so will see where I end up today

Might be movement issued if fully wind was performed and only achieved a maximum of 34 hours over the advertised 72 hours. You might want to send the watch to a service centre for further checking to see what went wrong.

I thought these were discontinued but just got an alert from Omega that they’re back in stock. I wonder if they were just pausing production for some reason?

Weird. I got the attached notice this morning and saw it listed on the website. But when I checked again this afternoon it says no longer available

I got the email notification from omega. I ended up ordering one as I have always been interested in trying one out. Omega was gone off their site, but HODINKEE had a new one.

I own a CK859 and want to replace the tiny crown with a larger crown that's easier to grip and wind. Does anyone on the forum have any suggestions? My thoughts are that this is not an impossible job, just a matter of finding the right parts and watchmaker to assist. Thanks!

A little late but I bought a 5mm manual watch winder off Amazon. Makes winding so easy.

I’ll just ask again, since there might be some new owners: anyone notice that the design of the tongue on the buckle makes it challenging to undo the strap unless you really bend the leather to an acute angle?

There is a technique. Push the buckle back on both sides which creates room and strap opens easily.

So, just reviewing and none are higher than the original limited edition error of 2939. Maybe they did only make a batch of 2939 and were waiting to see how the sales went - thus not wanting to specify it was a "limited edition" and rather a "numbered edition". I suppose if they felt sales were great, this gives them the option to produce more. Personally hoping that they don't make more and we have "limited numbered editions". :)

I agree. The interest in this also apparently has waned, after initial response from the collectors. There is a piece sitting at Delhi boutique for more than 6 months.

It's a splendid watch otherwise to own and wear.

I tracked down mine to an AD in Santa Clara. Every OB I have been to (Singapore, Malaysia, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt) all did not have it and I only found it at 3 ADs. One in Scotland One in US and another in Belgium.

I love it, manual wind, 39mm, double barrel, great finishing and silver dial. But at this price point, non enthusiasts / collectors will find it hard to buy. First thing I did was to order a new strap and deployant from my local OB and they were all so excited to see the CK859 as they didn't get many to sell.

No surprise - „normal“ people don‘t even know it exists, as Omega somehow did 0 PR/ Social around this piece. It‘s a weird release to me.

what strap did you order and please post pics! Mine's still on the original strap but I don't really like it (apart from the buckle) but suffering from paralysis analysis in terms of a replacement. A deployant sounds great.

completely agree, it was such a weird silent release. Would love to heard someone from Omega give some background as to how this piece came about and their plans for it.

Why the thing is difficult. Look at the tongue angle, Compared to a regular Omega buckle tongue:

I ordered the 20mm vintage brown strap from Omega with the deployant.

Here are some photos. The stock strap was taken off immediately as it creases too easily and the size wasn’t right for me. Looks complete on a deployant although I want to find a thin strap as the supplied strap with the deployant is a little too chunky.
