I personally think that watches like these dilute the Seamaster brand, which should be reserved for real sports and water resistant watches. Putting the name Seamaster on a dress watch on a leather strap that shouldn't be taken into the water makes no sense.

Looks pretty amazing. Pretty weird that they allowed a serial in the stock photo to end in a 4. That's super bad luck in the mind of a gambling Asian

The dial is quite large and the case is a little plain. If the diameter were more vintage the contrast with the caseback showing the modern movement would be a feature. The movement looks a little tiny as is, imho. Another Omega that will sell for a discount. At least they aren't orange, yellow, pink, etc.
Limited to 399 and Macau OB exclusive. It's never going to sell for a discount.

If you're not sure about a green dial three hander with date, maybe try out an Orient Bambino Version 4 Automatic FAC08002F0. I believe they can be picked up for around the £130 mark (they also come with blue and grey dials) 😁

I think you guys were being too mean because now, the watch has been scrubbed from their site and I can't find anything about it on Google except back to this thread. I was actually interested in acquiring this one too :/

Great pieces. Just a hair large imho. I’ve seen a few in person but for my wrist it’s just a tad large.

I agree. I think the City Edition Seamasters and the 40 MM De Ville Tresors would be in more collections if they were 38 - 38.5 MM.

Ehh I think I'd have to disagree on both parts there. Not a huge fan of dive watches smaller than 40mm. I have a Seiko SLA037 thats 39.5mm and thats already pushing it. Dive watches tend to be thick(er) so make the diameter too small and it just looks awkward.

I tried on some of the Tresors this summer and love the 40mm size. Still plenty "dressy" because of how thin they are too.

But anyway, this is all personal preference.

I went to the Omega Boutique in Short Hills mall (NJ) to look at the Speedy Pro and the NY edition caught my eye.....beautiful dial in grey & thin (big surprise) but they etched the limited number on the side of the case.....what a shame....I was actually thinking about getting it instead of the Speedy, but didn't get the Speedy because they only had the Hesalite and wanted to see the Sapphire....

They said they would call me next week when their order of Sapphires come in.......

Interesting.. I'm surprised they still have them in stock. I wonder if the NYC OB has any, maybe I'll take a look next time I drop in.

The NY edition looks pretty unappealing to me from the pictures, but all of these sterile render-like pictures on Omega's site just dont do any of the watches justice.
