My yellow Tsuyosa:

Really like these but too big for me. If these came in a 36mm I would be all over them. Lovely styling and bullet proof, simple mechanics.

You need to try one live (if you haven't already). Due to the male endlink, the bracelet goes down immediately after the case end and it sits very compact on the wrist - more like 38mm watch.

Funnily enough I saw a few of them in the metal yesterday at Cribs Causeway ( Bristol UK). They did look big but maybe next time I should go in and try one.

Closest I was able to get was this one, ref 41-2554.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/38466809...YVOKCLlQWC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Guess yours might be the 41-2112 going from your caseback.
@Snooz , thanks!
I was thinking about those numbers...
And I google some about the reference, and combined with the serial nr, the watch is from about 1980!

A really fun watch, over 40 years old - so a vintage LCD!
😀

Bumping this tread with my BM 8180-3E.

Let those Citizen be shown!

Edit: I have only seen this watch on Youtube, where its called a "cult classic", anyone here got one?
The "Cult Classic" is a bit of a stretch, but its a nice watch with good size and WR.

I think you're mixing your monkeys* on this one @Dan S. Seiko use the two digit dating system while Citizen stamp three, they don't use O, N or D, so 002xxxx in this case = February 1980.
Edit: *mix up things you know.

Time to bump the Citizen tread with my BM 8081-E3 field watch. I had some ugly scratches in the crystal so I had my watch maker install a new sapphire crystal. While he was waiting for the crystal I took the opportunity to do something with the case. I never liked the polish so I sandblasted it not knowing that the media had been changed to a much coarser grit. I should have tested it before going all in. It came out looking "iced". I then acid washed it and that removed the shinyness and gave a nice black patina. The patina was probably washed away in the ultra sonic of the watch maker leaving it as it is now. I like it better, but it surface is too coarse but maybe just up close. At least the enemy wont spot the glimmer of my watch anymore😉 What do you think?

People paid good money for a Laco x rad-aux that looked more destroyed than that ... This looks pretty darn good!
