So I still haven’t made my major purchase other than the omega PO a while back but I ran into this. Assembled and tested in the U.S, I got a thing for butgundy/red dials as well as textured dials so I’m really diggin the look. TBH the assembled in the U.S. thing isn’t a major deal I don’t mind Swiss or foreign watches but when you run across one you like and find it is I guess it’s a plus.

I also got a thing for the historical human Cincinnatus he set an example that George Washington believed should be followed so as you can see I have numerous interests in the watch.

Just wondering if anyone has had anything from the company and their thoughts on it. I’m not asking if you like the color or anything as I do and I’m the one wearing it. Certainly nothing high class but very interesting to me I’m just not familiar with the company,

Thanks for any feedback and I hope all are relatively happy and at peace.

I've never heard of this company before. So, I am curious, since you have this one, what is your review of it so far? It is a handsome watch from the photos you shared.

I know nothing of the company, but I see nothing unappealing about the watch.
As long as you're aware that it's an assembled watch with a respected movement (which you obviously are) I think you are the only person to make judgement.

Nice looking watch, so don't let us hold you back 😉.

There is a lot about that watch that I like: case size, Arabic numeral markers, the larger numerals at the four points, the color and the texture, the style of the hands, the lume.

I think you are not doing the Forum members right if you don'g acquire it and feature it in WRUW.

Oh no sorry if I misled I do not posses it yet. I’ve been on a microbrand hunt. I got the hankering for something different but I’m surprised this watch didn’t come up in that made in/assembled in the U.S. thread we had here a while back. There was actually a Canadian brand that really caught my eye. Damned if I can remember the name now.

So it is quite possible I may pick this one up or another of these quite interesting micro brands I’m scouring through. I often get stuck in analysis of paralysis just keep looking end up with nothing but it’s due time for retail therapy.

I think you are correct B-man. Someone has to be brave enough to try some of these zillion microbrands and report on them. I guess with a decent Swiss movement that is easy to get repaired it’s not that much risk involved.

I’m a very avid Baltic fan and own four of their pieces. I’m the happy owner of an RGM 801 COE and custom dial 455 Chronograph (very different price points of course) . I also own the Timex “ American Documents” which is mostly American made components. This looks like a nice piece. At the price point you really can’t go wrong.

I'm trying to figure out how much of a Thunder Fan I really am right now...
Actually that blue is very nice as well. I don’t think I have a blue dial watch. Oh yes I do my baby blue suede shoes seiko
It’s just locked away right now. Anyway I went ahead and ordered the burgundy dial. I’m just too into the society of cinncinatus and I am far too impulsive to stop myself. Damn using Apple Pay it’s almost easy to order these things by mistake I usually avoid Apple Pay but it filled everything in and one click of the button your done. That may have been what happened when I ordered my planet ocean but parts of that will remain a mystery.

So I will be able to give a review, very superficial, hopefully soon. My reviews are usually “it’s a good watch I like it” which is why I don’t have a YouTube channel or blog. We should start a microbrand thread as Larry mentioned many of them at the price range you can’t go wrong.

Ok it arrived. I ran down to my friends shop I forgot he already took of for a month vacation. I have no tools to adjust the bracelet they are in storage. I should have ordered a strap with this, maybe leather with a burgundy tone. Regardless looks nice, well made, maybe a scratch magnet but hopefully I won’t abuse it. I took some photos outside my friends shop I’m not sure what I did to get the sideways take, just turn your phone or laptop if need be.

That's a lovely watch Walrus; I love the texture of the dial.

BTW that baby blue Seiko is also gorgeous.

Well thank you. I agree they did a nice job with the dial. I find textured dials of great interest. Colors as well. I also like how many of these microbrands are working with food banks and other programs that benefit their community in addition to increasing employment.

That seiko I picked up early in the presage popularity. It was a “limited edition” but sometimes Seiko slaps limited on pretty big production numbers so I don’t know how “limited” it is but I think that funky blue one might have been 3,000 and it was released it conjunction with another color it took me a bit to decide which one I liked better and it almost sold out while i decided. Gotta be honest it could have been more than 3,000 made I don’t remember. I do know the value shot up for a while but I think it was a short burst of hype and it has since come back down but I haven’t really followed the value I got it as I liked the way the dial changes in the light.

Hopefully I can get this bracelet adjusted ASAP. As far as I can tell the case has a nice shape and should feel quite comfortable. Caught me off guard this AM as tracking from USPS had me down for Monday delivery I didn’t know who the hec was knocking on my door this AM.

I had the Amazon delivery guy waking me up early this Saturday am. It was hairbands my wife had ordered (for herself)!

At least yours was a nice surprise.

I have their P-40M…wonderful watch. Mine runs great, and the attention to detail is well above what one usually sees in a $600 watch. Congrats, @Walrus on yours!

They did a good job with it. The “rose gold” hands and other accents are pretty hard to capture in pics, but when the light hits it just right…wow!

That was actually the model that made me head to their website. I really like the layout of that dial. Then I saw the cincinatus became a difficult decision. Glad to hear yours is running well. Has a bit of a JLC nod
