If you are ok with microbands how about a 38mm and 12.9mm (thick) Automatic Mean Skymaster? I kickstarter purchased Sep 2019 looking to arrive now in next 1-2 months. Otherwise my vote goes for the recent Zeniths.

What about a TAG Heuer CS3111 re-edition. 36mm. Wears quite small on the wrist.

Thanks, for some reason I totally missed the 3111 and only noticed the 38mm re-edition. Scribbling into my long list of watches to buy now.

These seem like a real bargain. I am waiting for my Hudson Mk III to arrive in a month or so.
