Looking for a chronograph(non vintage) with a smaller profile. Small wrist problems. Any recommendations? I thought the trilogy Speedmaster was a good candidate but look at the lug to lug its not real that smaller.

At the border of vintage there is the Omega Dynamic 3 Gen. Ref 5240.50.00 from 1997-2002.
37mm.

Some sort of dress chronograph might come in a smaller size. For example, these are just under 40mm:

These days, if vintage is out, the modern watch case is going to run you minimally 40mm so I'd say maybe try an Omega Speedmaster FOIS?

Does it has to be mechanical? I think finding a cool, modern chronograph with a quartz movement will be much easier since size is an issue.

If sticking with mechanical, perhaps one of the newer automatic Speedmasters? I believe they are 39mm.

That’s 39mm right? I think trilogy Speedmaster is 38. Lug to lug is about the same.

How about that "Baltic Bicompax"?

Definitely not to my taste, but I gather they are popular. I only just now realised they are mechanical 🤦
Definitely interesting. Very affordable, too.

In the affordable Range (under 2k):
An Automatic Junghans at 40mm
or a Hamilton Intra-Matic at 40mm

The Seagull 1963 comes in two sizes. I think the smaller version is 38mm.

If the ‘57 Trilogy Speedy seems too large for you, I think you’ll struggle to find anything suitable under 40mm. As @ConElPueblo suggests, a quartz movement may offer more choice. This is my Longines Dolcevita chronograph. It’s about 28x34mm excluding crown and lugs, and wears much smaller. They’re not difficult to come by on the pre-owned market, and they are really affordable. They also have a variety of dials to choose from, and the square dial makes them a little different

Unless you have a watchmaker willing to work for next to nothing, servicing of this would likely be close to, or as much as, a new watch. Just something to keep in mind.

I looked on their web site and there wasn't a section on servicing, and the only reference was in the FAQ's about getting watches "repaired":

Where can I get my watch repaired?

Lug-to-lug is still substantial, 47mm, I believe, so probably won't be that good on a smaller wrist due to that.

It is a common misunderstanding but these watches are essentially the same. The difference, all ~0.4mm of it is in the bezel which is the widest part on the Ed White/FOIS/Trilogy case. The actual case is the same, other than lug detail. The Pro has a 39mm bezel, just like the FOIS and wears pretty similar to the FOIS or Trilogy Speedy though the bare website measurements would suggests otherwise. The Moonwatch is in essence a 39mm model with pusher protection, which is why it wears smaller than people expect.

Baltic is superb on customer care. They use Grand Central Watch in the USA. I’m sure they have set up a repair network globally. I had a problem, it was a total of four weeks from my e mail to its arrival back home. Any questions are answered quickly, often by Entienne himself.

Zenith Prime. Not new but not vintage.
