Chrono24 bad experience..

So I sold my seamaster ceramic via Chrono24 on the 9 march this year , everything went well with the buyer , he paid ( Chrono24) more or less straight away .
In the meantime I’m trying to get my account currency changed as I moved country in the previous year , with little success as they just refused to respond to any emails I sent about this .
So the sale went through and they wanted to pay out in CAD even though I’d moved back to the UK , so obviously wanted GB pounds , They even successfully changed my bank details to my new UK bank .

So now they are saying they sent the money on the 15th via there payment provider ( GB pounds) but my UK bank need an MT103 number to accept the payment, this Chrono24 just refuse to supply.
We’ve now got to the stage we’re they won’t take my calls , just tell me to email them , but they just refuse to reply.

I’ve currently reported the crime via the National Fraud & Cyber crime reporting centre after advice from the citizens advice bureau.
Any advice ? Or thoughts on this , it certainly feels like I’m just not going to get my £4400 back at the moment , they certainly don’t seem to mind bad press or unsavoury reviews.

Seems like this should be rectifiable somehow. Could you ask for a credit on Paypal? I would try to get my funds by making it easy for Chrono24 to pay. They have the funds, you need to find a method that they can use without any special effort.

Wow, haven't had such a bad experience with them yet. Seems you have incompetent customer support staff.

I could ask for anything, but they refuse to answer emails , are Germans usually this stubborn and obstinate?
Oh well another lesson in life I suppose , still not sure why they singled me out as generally reviews are pretty strong .

Sold before on chrono24 and nothing but good experiences. Money paid quickly and good customer service. Maybe try calling again and hopefully this will be resolved soon. Good luck.

I'm really surprised that Chrono24 is having issues with the MT103. Most of their transactions are likely international, so most of them will have an accompanying MT103. It also sounds like they have paid you, it's your bank that is holding the funds from you until the bank receives the MT103.

Ahh.. that's definitely different. Sorry you are having this issue, I'm sure it's very frustrating.

Perhaps you should try sending C24 customer service an email describing your problem with a hyperlink to THIS thread. It may spur some action on their part when they realize that you’ve taken the issue to social media and particularly to a large group of watch collectors, many of whom use C24 and who may now be reconsidering using their service based upon your experience.

Yes I could do , I already left some unfavourable reviews on trust-pilot etc , plus reporting them to the Cyber crimes team .
They do seem impervious to any action against them , very arrogant.

* Update they actually paid out now and without the required MT103 number , but by my maths at least £100 light *🤬😡

That would be the fees resulting from changing currency and the fluctuating value of the underlying currencies. At least, that's what they will say.
