Chrono pushers smoothness issue

How hard do you have to push the start pusher to initiate the chrono seconds hand operation on a modern column wheel chrono like Omega Co-axials, contemporary Rolex Daytonas or even Breitlings with B 01 movements?

Is it a pleasant experience?

Does the first start push mark your finger?

Why modern chronos can not equal the silky pusher feeling of old timers like Longines 30CH or Valjoux 22?
