    Hi guys,

I wear my Speedy 7 days a week and it’s running great, it’s not due yet for a servicing, but I find the pushers are getting really dirty. I also use the chrono fairly regularly, so I worry the dirt might affect the functionality.

Is there any way to clean the pushers without a service. I tried a toothpick, but that didn’t do much.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Here’s a pic for reference

Some soft cotton twine, like flossing your teeth but on your pusher tubes. You can also try dental brushes.

Wet a piece of cotton and wrap it around a few times and gently pull on one end. Don’t use white as you will see how dirty they really are ;)

I've used a toothpick, sharpened if needed. I have also used a toothbrush moistened with ammoniated water solution and patted so not soaking wet and brushed and wiped and blown dry with hair dryer on low heat. Of course I have removed the movement and dunked the case in 50:50 NH3:H2O and brushed and have even removed the pushers as well, taken apart and cleaned and repacked with silicone grease, but that's just me.
