Another funky Nordic cheapo! Moretime was a Swedish brand, registered in 1974 according to Mikrolisk. Lovely blue dial and a chrome plated case. Unitas 6325 inside. The watch runs quite slow, which means it gives you more... time
For some reason, I enjoy wearing this one. I got it free but in non-running condition. Paid for a service. I have been wearing it for the past several days while much better and more valuable watches sit in the watch box. Go figure.
I think these qualify as vintage cheapo beauties too: 50’s Tissot with a lovely dial. Vintage Mido Super Automatic, I love these models. Especially with their crowns, which are a work of art. I didn’t know the brand Agir, but it’s actually a a rebranded Edox Kingstar. Caseback, movement and bracelet say so. I libe this dial layout and the perfect patina. These Technos Sky Lights are so well-made. Mineral faceted glass, stunning dial, cool signed bracelet, it checks many boxes. Tissot PR516 Quartz diver. Bought it a loooong time ago on Ebay in Peru. I believe that’s all
You are correct. There is a dedicated thread for affordable, good quality vintage watches: https://omegaforums.net/threads/truly-vintage-on-a-budget-please-add-yours.135896/ This thread is meant to honor lower tier vintage beauties; some utter pin-pallet powered junk, some borderline top-drawer stuff, but all nonetheless charming.
Wow some people get all the luck! Current manufacturer of top end (mid tier) Swiss watches and that example is drop dead gorgeous! Titoni never gets too much love in the west but you could easily triple or quadruple that price in Asia and still have a big smile on your face as the buyer.
Nice looking Worldmaster! I consider Atlantic one of the quintessential cheapo brands. They are everywhere here in Northern Europe. If there is a pile of old watches for sale, a Worldmaster or Världsmästarur can be found. Sadly the later models from the 60s/70s with 37mm cases, beautiful black dials and gold indices are always plated and very often in horrible condition. Maybe one day I'll find a NOS 37mm Världsmästarur.
HUBER Secura , from 50ies?? hand-wound and (IMO) radium . Huber (now Huber Bucherer) is a store in Munich. Some of them had IWC-movements, this one not.
