Just purchased this gem...never even knew of them, a Timex Dynabeat 1975 ish absolutely lovely fumè dial...looks like a 1960s dive watch. For info purposes , thd 1st day on thd wrist it lost 15 seconds and today 12 hours on the wrjsf and 12 hours off its lost about 2 seconds...hacking function as well..im going to get a few more..some dont have the date window, which makes them lookeven better with a bluish fumè dial..and a tigers eye one which isverv attractive.
I'm not a pocket watch fancier or collector but this Longines is 1) gorgeous; 2) dual signed on the dial AND movemen (Mappin and Webb, UK jeweller); and 3) under $100. The blued hands on the porcelain and the condition really tipped it.
Do I have it converted to a wrist watch or just admire it until I decide someone else needs it?
One is a wrist alarm (single crown), the other a chrono. From an online auction and not too dear, at all....which is great because they both need overhauls.

A true vintage cheapo with stunningly beautiful steel blue dial. What it looked like when it arrived and the result after sandpapering and polishing of the dial.
