    Hi guys, need some help!!!

Found recently a bezel for my Certina DS2 PH200m watch. I know there’s a ring that goes with the bezel but I don’t have it.

What’s the function of that ring? To keep the bezel in place or to prevent the bezel rotating freely?

Appreciate your feedback and, if it is posible, a picture of the ring and some measurements!

    Thanks!!!

Is it possible to post a picture of what you mean exactly?

    Hi,

It’s the ring seen in the following picture (picture from internet).

I believe it might be for both purposes. Keeping it in place and so that it does not rotate freely and provides tension.

That ring does allow the bezel clicking rotation.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I have spoke with a couple watchmakers and they have the same opinion.

Now I have to find some one who could makff en one ring at a reasonable price.

    Hi,

The watch has been in 3 different watchmakers in the past 2 years and none of them could make a replica of the ring.

So I’m again looking for that part (the ring) or for a spares part watch.

    Thanks!
