Ceramic Moon Watches New Clasps?

How much would one expect to pay for that?
All sources say 650 USD/EUR for the clasp alone. Pretty good uptick from the regular stainless steel, which go for $280-320, and the titanium, which is $450-500.
And the clasp for the GSTOM is obviously a few shades lighter to match the case - grey tinted titanium and grey ceramic. Looks like it can fit with almost any watch as long as it's paired with a darker shade strap.

Here's the photos of my new GSOTM deployant strap and ceramic folding clasp installed. The Ti clasp on my Ti PO 9300 is slightly lighter than the GSOTM case. My "grey brushed" ceramic+Ti clasp is slightly darker.

Either one looks good, and they match or mis-match varies depending on the light. The ""grey brushed-polished" clasp is not available yet, and I believe it will be the one to arrive on the new GSOTM models.

I'm happier knowing my watch's clasp is ceramic like the watch, but if money is an issue for some then the Ti clasp for the Ti PO 9300 should fit the GSOTM strap and be just fine. If you don't want a slight mismatch, don't buy either and wait for the "grey brushed-polished" clasp to become available. My OB wouldn't even sell me one to put on backorder, so it could be a long wait.

I spoke to my local boutique just this past Tuesday as she calls me randomly to let me know they still aren't available yet. Says they are having major issues matching the color with the Grey model so no telling when it will be ready. I kept all my deployant straps I had bought back last year and traded my GSOTM and a couple other watches for. PP 5167.

I just couldn't keep waiting. I wore that watch every day but hated taking it off over something soft each and every time I needed to do something that would have gotten the leather gator strap wet. It was my first Omega watch and is still one of my very favorite watch models out there but am just going to wait until they get the quirks figured out. I'm not worried about wearing a ceramic watch as a daily beater but dropping it while taking it off without a deployant clasp is a real issue to be worried about. But other than that it's a lifer.

I will be purchasing the Black Black next unless the Grey has the deployant by then. Them two watches will be permanent pieces in my collection. It's like they are perfect on my wrist and they are amazing to look at not to mention they keep time like no other in its range.

I started this thread a really long time ago and finally just got tired of waiting. But, the watch itself is stunning along with the Black Black and it's just going to be a very very short vacation from them. I'm sure my boutique will be calling any day now that I've traded it lol but I'll just buy the whole watch with the clasp intact next time for even cheaper so it's a win win.

Keep us updated guys! And good luck!

Pity you didn't get the solution fast enough. The PP 5167 looks great, I really like it, I'd say you're well served until that Black Black arrives.

Oh I'll grab both the Black Black and Grey as soon as the Grey issues get sorted. They are IMO the best wearing watches in Omegas lineup and to me the best looking as well. They will be in my collection for the long haul. Only a set back until the clasp is corrected is all. No other complaints by any means. Beautiful watch with a one of a kind look and dial.

Has anyone seen the GSOTM clasp 'in the flesh' yet? I called an OB in the UK today and was told that I can place an order, but they do not know how long the waiting time is.

Prices of these ceramics have tanked. I spotted a BNIB Black/black for under £6800 in an AD window. I was also offered a GS at 25% off today.

Where have you got 25% off from? Im shopping for a GSOTM, I have only been offered 7% off maximum to the several AD that i have been to.

Ive tried the deploment and i prefer the original clasp

They are all over the place for well under 25% off. Rolex forums member always has a few listed. He is a member here too but sells on RLX forum regularly-like every day. I bought my GSOTM from him and so have others on here. Todreamwatch or something like that is his user name over there.

Peace of mind is good but a reputable GS gets you 25% off and a valid 4 year warranty, same peace of mind. It took me 1 year of looking around until I went for it, but the savings were worth it. I'll probably never buy at an AD again.

But whatever you chose, bottom line is that you'll get a fine timepiece that will last many years. Early congrats 😁

Well, if he wants to spend thousands more, it's his money. 😁

(And, while it's been discussed here, the chitown thread on WUS just keeps on going and going, and is now up to 13 pages. I'm amazed that WUS hasn't summarily deleted the thread, as it's recommending a non-sponsor.)
