I remember Jony Ive, designer at Apple with his Speedy walking around the CA campus. He has been quoted as saying everyone should have a fine made watch. I only met him briefly when I worked at Apple and did see the watch, can't confirm the quote.

Apparently he always wore watches like this 😀

He wore lots of things in funny ways but somehow managed to put it off.. He liked to wear things that weren't done up properly bootstraps that were flapping around etc.. But wearing your watch on the outside of your clothing just prepares you for any emergency that you happen upon, such as randomly being shot into space unexpectedly.. you know 😉

I find that celebrities put me off, so celebrity endorsement has the opposite effect on me…… I’m glad none of the pricks have been seen wearing a Flighty! (Cosmonauts not withstanding, for them it was a necessity not a fashion statement)
