Cars. What are you driving?

With my Seiko collector buddy this morning.

Here’s a wierd set of stats. Same tire size, same width, same wheelbase, same length, drivers seat the same position between the wheels.

On the other hand. 3.2 vs 6.2 and 333/270 vs 460/460.

His cold start noise owns me, but I sound better over 6k in a tunnel.

I’ll be honest the low end torque ruined my love for my car for 3 months after driving one. Plus the mag ride is eye opening, you feel the small stuff but it eats the big stuff.

That 93 post Diesel is SO clean damm! My car has got about 240k miles on it and is no where as clean! Love the black on grey you get on those 91' post cars. W124 owners represent!

Spring is just round the corner so I'm trying to get my GT6 back together so I can enjoy it this year.

I love it. In the past I have owned two Spitfires, there is a local GT6 that I have been trying to buy for the past fifteen years.

It is from 1995 and has done only 180K km. It belonged to my father in law who I loved so it has plenty of sentimental value as well. I only drive it on dry sunny weekends. It helps with keeping the engine bay clean. 😁

Here’s my daily driver — it’s great for transporting Christmas trees in Northern California. 150,000 miles and counting.

And here’s my cat’s 1977 911S

Now that's a pussy magnet! 😉

Bad photos, but here’s my daily driven 2010 911 Carrera (997.2 for the Porsche nerds).

Some nice cars here. My favorite, 2017 C-7 Corvette, Admiral Blue. My wife sent me to Corvette Racing School in Vegas. I thought I was good, not my first time on a track, Made me better.

Lovely collection. Sabine is simply gorgeous. My older brother collected 2002 ti/tii’s; he had 2 - 1974’s, and a killer 1973 ti in ‘Fjord Metallic Blue’. I was fortunate to drive the 74 across the Prairies in the mid 80’s. Not very windy (but very windy!), yet nevertheless a blast.

I look forward to perhaps spotting Sabine somewhere in YVR. 👍

She lives in Squamish, so maybe your next run up the coast. I do get down to the city sometimes.

In October 2017, we did the same trip! From Ottawa to Vancouver over 5 days. Tons of fun and such a dependable car. No issues at all - other than briefly losing a windshield wiper around the coast of Lake Superior. I'd do it again.

I'm detecting *slight* Corvette and Porsche sub-themes here. heh heh
Us BMWphiles tolerate them.

2008 TT 2.0. Picked it up in 2012 in showroom condition (31,000KM/19K miles) - some kid traded it in on a Mini, but not before he ordered the entire bells and whistles kit.
